Enjoyed that, bought my first Jigger floats a few weeks ago in my mid 70’s and caught quite a few at Orchard place fisheries in Kent which is full of F1’s up To 7lbs. I found this video very informative, thank you

What I'm wondering about using a jigger is why have the float at all. What's the purpose of the float if your just letting line pass thru it.

There was a trend of just using line and some shot, but on a lot of fisheries / matches you have to have a float on the line in their rules. They also often have minimum lash limits too so having the float and stop mean that you are within the rules 👍
