Rob I think mugging / dobbing is controversial because some people can do it and others can't. I fished with you enough at a certain fishery and weather it was a or b lake you drew on believe me the groans that happened once your van was seen pulling in was thinking about it hilarious and even anglers would go as you had the process sussed and was an art from! I'll be calling you shortly (ill book in with you 😲) for a day out on a natural venue as i could do with advice with something so hopefully see you soon. Tight lines 👍

Believe me it is devastating when you are persistent and changing depths but I've finished with Rob and he makes it look easy peesy but other anglers cannot get a bite to save their lives! Good luck, tight laggey 👍

Hello Rob. I've fished with you and seen you fishing this way and admittedly you make it look easy peesy when actually there is alot of skill involved too lol 😂! Great to see you doing well Rob, my dad won Sunday with 140 lb at Holme Farm, obviously a Feeder to the island. Tight lines 👍

@@RobWootton Rob buddy he is always framing and let's get it right and you have seen it for yourself he can chuck a Feeder just as good as anyone in the county! he's bloody 80 Rob and still competing 3 times a week! Yeah ok he's not going to massive range waters but that's what gives him the edge as when he draws a feeder peg or some anglers wouldn't even call some a Feeder peg due to where it needs to be fished as you need to fire the feeder with such accuracy. My dad is my idol secretly but all the massive hundreds and hundreds at the fens is all but over now. The very 1st time he took my mum and nana he won the 400 pegger outright. Serious question for you Rob! What pole would you buy my old man as he does fish a fishery atm that needs a 16 metre pole? I'm lost in the world of looking! Any info would be greatly appreciated. Does he need 16m then? The best two around at the minute is Either a browning sphere or a Middy xz65 - Both great at 16m . If it needs to be cheap then there’s very good deals out there second hand

@@RobWootton thanks for getting back to me. Yes im treating him to a decent bit of carbon as I know that it is going to benefit him. I have been told that the Matrix mtx3 or 4 is the one but I'm just about finishing my battle that I thankfully won so I've not had too much on the circuit unlike you. So I don't know what to order and need a little push in the right direction! Cheers 👍

I think it’s because it’s totally different from the standard way of catching fish and some people don’t like new or different things. Whatever people think of it ... it’s certainly effective !

mugging should be banned it not a fishing skill to be proud of. its about catching fish in the correct way when match fishing. watching match angers standing on their seat box to spot fish is a fuckin joke. lets get back to proper fishing and not win at all cost by devalueing fishing skills
