What kind of fishing poles do you use and line weight?

@@justinacarrillo7819 We bought 4 Ugly Stik GX2's back when we started dating like 8 years ago and accumulated a few others over the years too. We just recently had to buy new reels for them but they are an extremely durable and long lasting rod and reel combo. We use 8lb mono (Stren Magnathin) main line and 6 lb or 4 lb Fluorocarbon leader line (depending on the location we are fishing).

Thanks! We do a lot of weekend day and overnight trips, and basically any extra time we can find during the week (when daylight allows us to fish). By the way, we've recently seen a few of your videos and enjoy them! We are definitely into the same species and locations. 🤙

6- 6.5 feet medium action (We use them for bass as well). We also have a set of Dock Runners that are 2- 2.5 feet long that we like to use in small ponds and lakes.
