I noticed some places are hotspots for me. I work overnight I do security and walk around a lot and tend to play during my rounds. My job is somewhat of a hotspot I’ve seen 3 birds. I caught a zapdos and a shiny articuno within 5 days of each other.

i wasn't able to play as much day 1, but day 2 i had the daily incense going the whole 8 hours, with windy weather, and didn't see a single bird either. and i was walking around a somewhat big campus. then i'm seeing people that encountered multiple birds, i saw someone that encountered 8+ birds during 1 day of the event, and i'm like this is some bs.

the mighty shiny pokemon will never run, my dad even used a pokeball on a shiny mamoswine and it turned out to be shundo. so my dad caught a shundo with a pokeball

I have a theory. Why do I feel like shinies and galarian birds are easier to find in cities or places where more people play Pokemon Go? That also might be because more Pokemon might spawn because of pokestops or something but I wonder if Pokemon go uses data to find where the numbers are and uses that to make the most people satisfied while still keeping rarity up. I also get that Mystic plays this game for a living so of course he has more opportunity to get all the shinies and mighty Pokemon and such. You’re awesome Mystic!

Damn that was painful to watch bro, I ran a 8 hour incense on Sunday. Saw 3 birds, 1 zapdos and 2 moltres. I caught the 1 moltres and the zapdos which was a 91, both crit catches. Really wanted to catch one of each as well.

All I've ever caught is an Articuno because we had the masterball. I've lost like five Moltres and six Zapdos so far. Had another master ball for one of the other two but my 6-year-old daughter decided it was a pretty pink and purple ball and used it on a shadow starly so I'm waiting on another master ball.😂🤷‍♂️ I ran a 4-hour incense on Safari ball day and didn't even get a single one to spawn.😢

Yeah same with some people of my community. We walked for hours and didn’t got a lot of shinies, maybe 4 ou 5 each at top, and not a single might among them. Some are stroll interesting to trade in lucky trades tho. But we didn’t get as much as many as during the Necrozma event and were a bit disappointed with that

@damienhardy289 the necrozma/ alola event was terrible for me, 22 necrozma raids(over odds), not a SINGLE shiny. And that's not even the worst, one time I did 60 raids across 2 months(3x over odds), and no shinies at all. So now I've done well over 80+ raids, if not 100+ with no shiny legends in sight. My luck is terrible.

I think i caught the bird you needed, I recently started playing (Played like 2 days in 2016) and when I walked out of my appartment 3 days ago and activated my daily incense I saw a cool bird, clicked it and it was the shiny galarian moltres! I ended up buying a bunch of coins for regular pokeballs and 280 balls later caught it with one of my first excellent throws! (Im still learning the game, but those 280 ball throws for sure made my aim better. In fact the one I caught the moltres in was my best throw yet) 😁🎉
