Thanks for all the pointers. I managed to catch 3 diamonds within less than 25 minutes of fishing at this spot. Two diamonds in a row at that. Third within the fourth cast. Diamond bonanza, I'd say. Cutthroat (5 kg), Brook and another Cutthroat (over 6 kg). All on in line spinner number 6.

I just came back to the game. I played for about 2 months got to level 50, just farmed Atlantic salmon for levels. In 50 levels I could not catch a Diamond. I used all the right hooks and baits, I used all the spots. Today I finally got my diamond with the first spot suggested. Thank you so much.

Level 126 player here, if nothing is biting switch it up. And catching more fish = more respawns. Water temps don't matter at all.

Does the equipment you’re using affect the tier of the fish?

Only in the ability to not snap the line. As long as the line doesn't snap, it's lure and hook size that matters.

I tried this for the cut throat in the same spot you did I made 5 casts had 3 silver a gold and bronze I figured I’d try a hook size bigger #5 hook and on the first cast with that got my first ever diamond trout and my second ever diamond thank you for the tip flinter

Great another guy with barely any diamonds giving tutorials on diamonds. Sigh. MORE IMPORTANTLY.....water temperature has been debunked several times by jaxy the community manager in his live stream every week. Yup temp ranges for diamonds are consistent...HOWEVER...it is currently IMPOSSIBLE to chase water Temps....plz go look at steams by development teams before wasting ppls time chasing bonk Temps. You need to do better bud , no sub yet , until you do.

I was suprised when I hit a diamond large mouth and small mouth bass within 10 minutes of each other on a size 7 frog using the twitching technique. All within the first few hours of playing. Ive been hooked ever since.
