Yes Ben ! Missing you too my man- Agreed it was awesome and miss rolling with you aswell😎 sadly haven’t had a chance to train for a year now - been watching Bradley’s videos and some of Danahers stuff so that now my vocabulary has an unhealthy preponderance of words like system, wedges and buttocks !

It’ll be a while before I can flow as smoothly into movements like this. That being said, this opens my eyes as to what’s possible when you can break their defensive grips when you’re at a higher stance than your opponent. Until I saw this, I’ve tried my best to avoid someone gripping around the ankle/calf.

What if they grab the collar? (When you are clearing the hook, you get a bit close)
@BradleyHill3 жыл бұрын
If I have cleared the DLR hook then their collar grip doesn’t do anything. I can back step and still take the omoplata - if it’s before I have cleared the hook then I need to break the grip but that is 101 of passing guard

Can anyone help me out here. I want to get into martial arts. Right now I'm visiting my father in Texas but when I go back to my home in new jersey, I'm not too sure where to start. If I should do jiu jitsu or taekwondo.
