I live in S. E. Louisiana and I’ve caught so many reds I can’t count them all. They were almost fished into extinction until gill nets were outlawed. The fish made a strong comeback. Glad you guys had a chance to enjoy Louisiana, “Sportsman’s Paradise “.

Definitely entertaining, but funny how John acts like he knows the ins and outs of redfish fishing. I remember watching a video of lunkers a while back fighting a Jack and laughing about how her tried fighting it like a bass. Easy to tell who knows how to fight fish that pull drag

When I lived in Larose, I can't count the number of times I went down the wrong canal and was lost in the middle of the marsh and it probably took me 3 hrs to get where I needed to be. I've also been a victim of an outgoing tide and ended up sitting in mud which I had to push the boat out til I got enough water under the boat to at least paddle it. Awesome video guys

We got stuck like that one time when I was 9. We were in a John boat runnin up those little tidal creeks for trout and redfish. When we turned around to head back out, we got around a corner and there was an egret in the middle of the creek...we could see the tops of his feet. We got out and started walking/pulling the boat, and I ended up waist deep in marsh mud. Fishing was pretty good that day though.
