Catching Big Bass Without Fancy Electronics! Lake Chickamauga SlugFest!

Do you bass fish on a budget? This one's for you! We're out on Lake Chickamauga on the Tennessee River and we're catching BIG BASS! We forgot the electronics so we're fishing completely blind! If big screens, side imaging, and live sonar is out of your reach, don't let it get you down. You can still catch a huge limit of fish on a highly pressured lake with nothing but a rod and reel in your hand!
Not only are we fishing without electronics, Tim caught all our biggest fish on a budget-friendly rod as well! Electronics and nice equipment definitely make it easier to find fish quickly but it can be done easily enough by using your knowledge. Focus your time on secondary points and edges of spawning flats where fish should be gathering this time of year and eventually cross paths with quality fish.

I got to meet Matt when they first came to the chick Matt was in his Camper while house was being built. I live near the chick and camp and Harrison bay often where he was. I have that same 70 mgl mounted on a 6’9 medium fast action and I love it. Casts unbelievable. I use it for jerkbait fishing and I can cast a Megabass Trick Darter 80 like a half ounce weight

Wow! Just WOW! Probably the best video I’ve seen of you two together in a long long time. A few things I noticed: 1) Looks A LOT like the same spot Matt was on a few weeks ago. 2) Very pale fish. I have been trying to catch one on a chatterbait forever and finally had one hit yesterday. I thought i hooked into a submerged tree as I couldn’t move him. Then quickly realized it was a giant.
