Catching BIG Trout on JERKBAITS (whiskeytown lake)

Sick dude i'm probably going to be out there in a few days with the gf and the lil one, planning on having a flick on the water. It's been years and frankly too long lol. Told the gf to bring the inflatable kayak and paddle board so i can test a bunch of spots out.

Caught myself a 13 Inch pike minnow over the 4th of July weekend , but no trout 🙁

I think there would be a few. But whiskeytown is known for its big spotted bass, trout and Kokanee
