I used to go for these super long walks in the forest behind my house in high school. My parents were getting divorced, and being at home sucked. It helped to get out. I would put my headphones on and load up SoundCloud and listen to this guy called "Catching Flies". He had this single out of a remix of Jill Scott's "Golden" and I would listen to that, and later an EP called The Long Journey Home, where I would sit on this big rock and listen to Sunrays nearly at full volume. Fast forward to just a couple months ago, more than 10 years later, and my brother in-law and I went to Anjuna open air in Montreal. It was the first time I had heard of the label. I had no clue Catching Flies was signed to them. Currently having a good cry to this dope updated version of the track. Thank you Catching Flies. It's great to hear from you again.
