Beautiful scenery, gorgeous water and of course wonderful fish. We were in Yellowstone last summer, wish we would have taken our fishing gear now, but I know we wouldn't have caught what you did. Thanks for sharing location and instructions on how to do it.

I’m going to try this shortly out here in Washington on my fly rod. Did you strip in the chironomids like streamers with no indicator? Floating, sinking, intermediate line? I was planning on using my intermediate with maybe a poly leader if I need to get deeper and just use a big streamer but this has me thinking different.

I did not, I just let the flies sink and go down and then recasted and would get a bite probably every 3rd cast.
