Yeah, they are fun to catch. If ever you want someone to get hooked on fishing, take them out when the mackerel is running. Its almost guaranteed that they will want to do it again and again....

@@fishingbuddyph8786 I didn't make it today but I'll be there at sunrise tomorrow. I saw a lot of fish breaking the surface chasing bait at the end of Winona this pm. Do the have bait at the shop at camp Ellis ? I meant to call them today but didn't get to it. Thx for checking in.

@@gonewishinaquatics2686 I haven't been to that bait shop in long time. I usually get my bait at Saco Bay Tackle, right across from Aquaboggan Water Park on rt 1 in Saco. They carry clams, mackerel, seaworms and blood worms. I'm also on vacation this week so maybe I will see you at OP.
