He doesn’t dive for as long as it looks, he edits out his coming up for air moments so your always in the action.

Also once ur in the water you have to overcome any fear of going down. You have a dive reflex occur when your in the water from when we were less evolved mammals. Just practice.

Try hyperventilating for a few breaths then hold it. When you hold your breath co2 builds up and gives you that "I need to breathe" feeling. So get rid of co2 by hyperventilating briefly then hold. Without hyperventilating I can hold about a minute, after purging the co2 I can hold about 2+ minutes

Brodie has answered this 50x. He can stay down 20+ meters 1:30-2min. Spear fishing your whole life, you dont need to exersize it. I see the guys with 15min breathers. Alot of them spear fish bait size fish in over fished under water deserts.
