Cheers, just got me a new Bonifide P127 hopefully I can get her setup with my livescope and get out when it warms up!
@fishingbythenumbers7 ай бұрын
Nice! Man, no need to wait for it to warm up unless it’s below freezing! With livescope or a ff, you can track down and catch crappie year round! Go get em and come back wit em!!!!

Love your content! Keep hooking them. Caught my first 2 lber of the year on Cedar Creek Reservoir March 3rd. Going back up this weekend. I live in Austin which sucks for for crappie fishing. Anyway, enjoy your videos.

I’ve been wanting to do some fishing out there, but wasn’t sure which lake to hit. Was thinking about LBJ or Buchanan, or just somewhere on the Colorado river. I’m sure they’re out there just gotta find em! Thanks for watching and let me know if you find some good fishing out there. Also, try Granger lake or Somerville if you get a chance those are two nice little crappie lakes too!
@WardenCohee7 ай бұрын
Yes, I hit Sommerville depending on the wind. I use a kyack, too. But Granger is a waste of time. I've been in Austin 8 years and have never caught double digit keepers on that lake. I'm going back to the Metroplex area in the next 2 years. Austin sucks! Anyway, you have to try Cedar Creek Reservoir and Richland Chambers Reservoir. Along with Lake Fork and others up north. I guarantee my first 3 lber will come from up there. Good fishing!!

I hear ya, I said if I ever move that I’m going to the DFW, so many lakes over there! But yep, all three of those lakes are on my list, Richland will probably be the first one I hit sooner rather than later. And if you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love Somerville. Got a video on that one coming really soon!

great video! Question, what is the ham feature?
@fishingbythenumbers7 ай бұрын
Thanks! The helm feature is part of Garmin’s Active Captain app that allows for screen recording on my fish finder unit so I can share the livescope footage with y’all. It’s only available on certain garnin units tho!

Hello my boyfriend follows your channel we’re from Mississippi. He wanted to know if you take people out as a fishing guide. He wants to find a good place to catch crappie on lake Houston.
@fishingbythenumbers6 ай бұрын
I’m not a licensed guide, but I can connect him with SKS Crappie Catchin Adventures (on KZbin) who is a guide, and a good one at that!

Thanks Mr. Sims! Yes sir, my pops and bro also love to fish! I’ve had bass before, and it’s a good eating fish too sometimes it just depends on the waters that it comes from. I don’t really eat them now, mostly crappie, blue gill, catfish or white bass from the fresh water lakes around here! Thanks for watching, and I’ll try to do another catch clean and cook soon! Take care! 🫡
