Came just to see if it was possible. Spent over 25 minutes trying to catch a shark today and my line snapped at the *last* second. It felt like it wasn't getting any closer to the boat at all. I wanted to cry, lol.

@ElevenTableTennisVR First, you need to switch from the Meta avatar to the real vr fishing avatar in the mirror from the room to the right of the TV in the lodge. Next, you can change to single-handedly from the settings on the TV or in the popup menu.

Got a question. When it comes to the rods and reels can you replace them by buying the same one again due to durability being low

You can't buy it until it breaks. It will always break after you get your fish reeled in so there is no need to worry about losing anything due to durability. Once it breaks use the store icon on your pop up menu to buy another.

Love your channel. Started watching even before my VR glasses came in. Does the expertise level affect ones ability to land a shark? (Level 2 VS Level 10 VS Level 20)?

Nope, you can catch a shark on any level. I often use sharks to level up fast on new DLC maps.

Fishing one-handed, you just pull the trigger to reel in. Some people like it better than using the second controller to reel in.

Just Curious... why does the line turn "green" when you are about 100 ft away, etc.. I always thought the " green" line meant you can pull the fish in close to you???

I just recently got a mako and 2 megamouth I just do float with minnow a or something like that and they tend to come up u don’t actually catch the shark u the shark catches what u caught if that makes sense lot of arm work and pay attention to the water and for some reason when I had one on normal (I switched to test something I always play expert) it was hard to catch on expert it was kinda easy I also had a better rod by then hope this helped

Yes, they just aren't boosted rates

No you can catch sharks in normal also.

I have yet to catch a shark, I have Rod & Reel C, I have hooked many but they always snap my line. I do my best at not letting the line turn red. Also, I cannot fish 1 handed, it won't let me.

Reel C will be very hard to catch a shark, the better the reel the easier it will be. If you can't use 1 handed then you are probably still using the Meta avatar. You can go to the mirror in the room to the right of the board and switch to the classic avatar. This avatar is much better, has a watch even.

Once you figure out the technique it gets really easy. Pay attention to the sounds, get those directional pulls and snaps.
