Wow ! What a nice Buck! Funny how they don't show their rainbow colors as much in the ocean....ive never caught a Steelhead in the surf before! Believe it or not I seem a guy catch a smolt Steelhead off Huntington Beach pier in Southern California decades ago... while jigging with a Sabaki rig! Ive been fishing the Feather River in California for 50 years now....they are my favorite fish by a long shot! I was present when my Son caught his first Steelhead.... while he was fighting it i chuckled and asked him..." What does a Bass have on that!?"
