Best way to get a roped steer on a trailer is to have a vertical spindle in the front of the trailer and put your rope around it and then ride back to the rear pulling the steer on. Strange these guys don't know that.
@gordylocks5 жыл бұрын
Wish i was there helpin yall haha. I know your helping your boys learn to rope and handle animals but its alot faster to flop em down, tie there feet, and drive trailer to them and jerk em into trailer. Great videos keep up great work!!!

Look back at 7:11 in the video. If you would have cut me off like you did that other guy. I would have laced it on you and waved my slack! Your probably not cowboy enough to realize what that means. I get so tired of people thinking that just because you can rope a yearling that that makes you a cowboy. And while I’m on that subject, your horse can’t see what’s going on because his nose stays straight up in the air! At one point your reins both got on same side of his neck because of this!! Terrible!

Guys who are always talking and giving instructions are the most annoying people to work with in my opinion. That being said, I think I'm taking the guys I work with for granted because the other guys in these videos just dont seem to understand what's going on. I get why he is always taking and giving instructions now. I remember I had a buddy who wanted to buy a horse and start working cattle with my family on my grandpas ranch. After a full year of him working with us my grandpa turned to me and said "I know you're trying to teach him, but some people will simply never get it."

You guys don’t have good ‘relationships’ with your cattle, I went to a barn and the cattle were very friendly and wanted to be pet. It makes life a lot easier.
@messyjc86535 жыл бұрын
No Videos hey there, I hear you about having friendly cattle, on a smaller property, especially, with certain animals, you can have bovine pets in effect. However, if breeding beef animals on a huge ranch, etc, that notion just will never really fit. Friendly animals generally need more from you than more 'independant' ones.

You gotta be the worst cowboys I've ever seen in my life. Riding in front of each other letingt each other get tangles up.
