Badass! I always enjoy seeing fish that are not trout caught with the fly rod! Not that I don't enjoy trout, it's just that other species can be super fun as well. People who don't multi-species fish with fly rods are missing out on some good times!

@@TroutHowler Awesome! You ever try fishing for Wiper /Hybrid striped bass? we don’t have striped bass where I’m at in Colorado, but we do have wiper. Those fish are super fun to fish for with fly rods!

@@OpportunityFishing I have caught Wipers but have never targeted them specifically. Its pretty popular to fly fish for them at Willard bay. They do fight hard

Miss taking my kayak down there and chasing the boils with a fly rod. Just curious but what are those gloves, they make an appearance all the time

They are just ultra light sun gloves. My hands get destroyed if I don't wear them. It started about five years ago. I don't know what condition it is but If i don't wear them my hands look like i have a 3rd degree sun burn at the end of a trip and my skin will literally starts peeling off---it sucks. The bonus of the gloves I use is that they are made of synthetics, so they don't harm the fish like most organic gloves do.
