I found your channel a few days ago, and I really enjoyed your video's. It reminds me of my child hood. I was raised in Crowley with true Cajun people around me. I missed the days of family getting together for a crawfish boil. Fishing and hunting was just the way of life back then.

You could add a little flour before you add the shrimp and make a light colored rue. Then a little water. It would be very good like that too without using the golden mushroom. Thanks for watching.

These are the least fight bream I've ever seen. Bream/bluegill this size in my neck of the woods fight like a 10 pound bass. I saw a 5 pound bream/bluegill come out of a 1 acre pond near my house 42 years ago. The guy had it in a 5 gallon plastic bucket and it was bowed up to fit in the bottom. Never seen another even close to that size alive. A pound and a quarter is a big bream/bluegill where I live. Bream/bluegill is the best fresh water fish on earth.

Sarah is a hoot......a buddy of mine has a one acre private pond that he raises coppernose bluegils and they fish them with a sinking fly with the barb filed down. They caught a 2 pounder which I thought was gigantic until I saw this video . Great video and as usual food looked amazing. Were ya'll just fishing hair jigs or tipping it with worms?
