The narration is not only because they are vampires but it was connected to them being idols thru survival shows. The narration was about them being voted as Enhypen and if it were being given to them or they have taken it for free or talented enough to debut. At that time they have to show how talented they are to debut.

in their webtoon they basically a vampire since the beginning but they lost their memories, and why they bite each other is bcz the older they were their vampire feel or power will resurface, and they feel this thirst to blood thats why they were bite each other. idk if this will be understandable or not but yeah 😂
