To me, i found sheesh's rap the weakest out of all the babymonster songs (excluding stuck in the middle and dream). Mainly because of the overuse of onomatopeia it's so underwhelming when you know their skills and also how short each rapper's part is. But i'd say forever's rap is the second best after batter up verse. Ruka and Asa really showcased their skills in batter up. Which is even more impressive when the best rap verse from Asa is the one she wrote herself

Fyi, Teddy hasn't left. He just got full in charge of The Blacklabel but YG still has a percentage of the subsidiary company. And oh, YG himself is the one who told Teddy to become an independent company on his own. YG doesn't relies on Teddy as much as people think that they are. Mainly, Teddy just handle 2ne1 and Blackpink, but he can produces sometimes with other soloist like what he did to Taeyang and GD, he even produces Sumni's song even if she's not under YGE or Black label. As for Babymonster, Choice37 is the main producer of it alongside with his team Lil G and others. YGE has seven to 9 music production team and one of team are Teddy and Choice37. So, people should really stop saying that oh YG relies on Teddy too much when in fact he was just handle 2ne1 and Blackpink lol. This is one of the reasons why Blackpink's comeback is always cancelled because Teddy was their producers, same as 2ne1 before. If you look at it why Babymonster plus Treasure makes a lot of comeback and more songs because of that reason.

Teddy has left the YG building and YG has sold down his ownership in Blacklabel from 50% to 20% to a separate investment fund which makes Teddy the largest majority owner of Blacklabel. So Teddy has effectively left. But recently Rose signed with Blacklabel for her solo projects which means Blacklabel will be in the picture for future Blackpink projects that involve Rose.

Backing vocals? Baby Monster do not need backing vocals. What you see is what you get. Even the mv's use alot of organic vocals and it is to mainly soften the adlibs. In live, those Ahyeon adlibs are the main event. She blows up on live stage. Ahyeon does not do soft.

LIKE THAT is a gift song from Charlie Puth. He's gave baemon song because of Ahyeon. On a last evaluation, Ahyeon covered Charlie Puth - Dangerously, and Dangerously got an award & charted again in Korea, the song was viral again

This kind of reaction video to me is nice for a change. Everyone have their own taste and views in music, so it is nice to hear it from another pov which is perfecrly fine. I generally like how you listen to a variation, instead of just the mv. This is really literally diving deep into a song to degres. Which help to discover different aspect of a song, that might have missed out in the mv. And i like how in your prev babymonster video you did your best to googled and try to remember and put the name to their face. That's how i did when i first discovered babymonster and kiss of life too. Gradually after a few video it will just get to you, and you will just recognize them. Honestly sheesh wasn't my fav too, although i like the rap parts in my first listening. But it will just grow on you after a few listen, which is so crazy. My fav is definitely forever, like that and stuck in the middle. Just love how yg trying to explore new variety, as the girls have great vocals.

Ruka's singing voice is awesome. It's like a mixture of Jisoo, Rora, and Onda (Everglow) and she can hit whistle notes too. People don't realize that all 7 of them are all-rounders. 7 vocalists, 7 rappers, 7 dancers, 7 visuals, 7 leaders, 7 pure performers. YG struck gold with these 7. It's going to take a decade to show all of their talents. Stuck in the Middle live is better than the MV. These girls live vocals are insane. That part after the raps with the back and forth "My Love" x4 is Asa and Ruka alternating.

I strongly suggest that you check out each member cover of a song in their Last Evaluation. The songs are chosen by them. That way, you can truly hear their vocal qualities and skills. In these songs, their parts are chosen by their producers and hence, you will not be able to hear as much to properly make a decent judgment. Note that Chiquita had Covid-19 a week or two prior to her performing her cover and Ahyeon had to change her song two weeks prior to her performance.

You should check out their pre-debut song Dream! It was released after the conclusion of the Last Evaluation and the member announcement video, and includes Ahyeon before her health hiatus. Its a ballad that shows their auditions, years of training, and final evaluation! They also just released a dance performance for Forever, and will appear on Its Live today/tomorrow. They also didn’t promote Batter Up and Stuck in the Middle as Ahyeon was absent, but they did put on their own two stages for each song - the stuck in the middle ones are particularly good.

Another think I need to mention : EVERYONE HAS OWN TASTE & PREFERENCES. BUT : YG IS DOING ALL THE BEST 4THIS GIRLS & TRYING TO SHOW THEYR POTENTIAL WITH EVERY SINGLE SONG.WHICH IS SUCH A DIFFICULT THING TO DO. I'd say ruka best verse is forever, however i think asa's best rap verse to date is the one she wrote in Batter Up, I find it more impressive and skilfull than the one in Forever where she goes very fast but it's still second best verse.

Teddy is in charge of the black label which is a yg subsidiary so yeah he’s not producing yg songs anymore but the same team who worked on a lot of bigbang2ne1 bpink songs are still producing just not teddy since he’s a ceo now with his own trainees and working on ilands new girl group plus his own gg is supposed to debut either later this year or early next year rose also just signed a solo contract with him while bp renewed as a group under yg and established their own labels as soloist except rose who joined taeyang in the black label

Fyi, Teddy mainly produces only for girl groups, 2ne1 and Blackpink is his ultimate group that he can produce. But the rest of the groups from YG especially boy groups have different producers, mainly most of the boy groups from YG produces it within themselves. Not everyone in YG relies on Teddy, YG have seven music production team and one of that is Teddy and the other team was Choice37 which was mainly handled Babymonster and the other music production team handles other groups/soloist but they mainly can switch up. But in Teddy, he mainly handle 2ne1 and Blackpink.

In the rap from Sheesh, Ahyeon has a high pitch tone. That is not her actual tonal quality. You can hear her rapping in the Intro of Ahyeon and it is no where like this. The producer probably wanted a contrast with Ruka hence wanted her to sing this way. Ahyeon is very flexible and will adapt to it and of course it is probably because she has the widest range of all the girls as well.

Teddy left YG before Blackpink's debut I think. All of BP's songs were produced at the Blacklabel recording booth not in YG but Babymonster were actually Choice37's children. If Teddy have Blackpink, Choice37 have Babymonster. But before choice37 is working with Winner and iKON but mainly Winner, you can check the credits inder Winner songs and there're mostly Choice37 or Airplay. Teddy just worked with 2NE1 and then Blackpink after.
