My first thought on that white flat piece is that it looks like you would put it inside and when the ice gets full it will push it up and then it will stop making ice just like the ones in the icemaker in the freezer. So glad you are able to try these new products out 👍💕

Glad to see you’re getting things to review you can use. That ice maker came at just the right time! I have something similar. The ice makers that come in refrigerators break all the time; they aren’t worth the mark up.

I was watching the video about removing the stump and had an idea. You could use a sander with very course grit to sand down the center of the stump or even a hand planer to shave the stump in the center. Just a thought.

I drain mine everytime I get done using it for the day. Also keep the macine right next to the sink and use my sink faucet sprayer hose to fill the tank. it does start out making cubes that are not so frozen and gradually makes cubes that are good and solid after a few cycles.

I had one something like that and the time I waited for next batch of ice the first batch melted so I could never get enough for a glass lol .I got mine off Amazon it was 349$ I went and got a small one for 130$ and it works better. Than the expensive one. I used spring water in mine it saves the nasty from using tap water

I really do like that ice maker. I wish I had room for one. My counter space is so small I just don't have room for it. J want to move and as soon as I donim going to order one. My lease is up in August and I hopevi can findva bigger place to move. Really awesome. I empty ice trays 2 or 3 times a day and I hate it. Of course no one else will empty and refill the trays. I have a portable ice maker that has a drain built in the bottom of water basin. Pop the plug out and drains . I have to pour water into it to make ice. It gets used a ton.

I use ice in my water jug, and my couple glases of tea, but would never use this much. My ice maker keeps up for me. My daughter has a counter ice maker also and loves it.

Yes they do. And you can use the discount code on any ice maker You choose. They have smaller ones, in fact I'm not keeping this one and I'm going to go with the smaller version. This one was a little too large for my countertops took up too much room and was just too complicated all the way around I thought but the small ones are easy and take up much less room

Kim my icemaker is by Newair and it shuts off on it's own when it's full but the ice melts then it makes more so I never have to manually shut it off unless I'm leaving home for several days like vacation or road trips. I really wish u would try one. It's simple

I like my MasterChef ice maker. It works very well. I put the ice in a container in my fridge freezer and that way I don't have the ice maker going all day.

The truth, I didn't finish this video out like I should have because I wasn't extremely happy with this ice maker. I emailed the company and told them that this was not a good ice maker for me nor would it be I felt a good match for any of you guys that might want a nice maker it was heavy it was a little complicated that little hoes they sent does not fit the faucet nor does it fit the ice maker so I don't know where that goes anyway that's why they sent the other link that let you look at all of their ice makers and use the discount on any ice maker you choose

I had a GE opel. Loved it. My sis works for GE so she gets a great discount. I did not turn it off at night. Mine you had to self fill the water. It couldn’t be connected to a waterline. My dog set my house on fire jumping up to get some food of my gas stove. I was gone for half the day. Anyway it went with the fire. All 3 animals survived!

I fill my ice Machine with 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water and run the self cleaner 1x a week otherwise the ice starts tasting like mold

I would think the temp should be 32 degrees as that is the temp water has to be to make snow or ice, I think.

No, I manually filled it. Listen, I didn't do as good of a review for this ice maker. I wasn't completely happy with it. It was a little confusing with the water line. And it was bigger than I thought it would be. It also takes 30 minutes to drop ice. I emailed the company and explained all this to them. They asked me to still do a video but they would give a discount code for you guys to any ice maker on their website

Susan, go to their website, the link is in the description. Don't get this ice maker. Get a smaller one. They have lots to chose from. This one is heavy, complicated and takes 30 minutes to drop ice. You can use the discount code for ANY ice maker you choose

No it's not the same one, that would been awesome that this one made Sonic ice. This one is not exactly what I wanted. In fact it's packed up ready to go back. It is too large, too complicated, the hose they sent does not match anything. It doesn't match anything on the ice maker and it sure doesn't match my sink faucet. I'm not for sure what that's for. And it takes 30 minutes to make one batch of ice which is crazy to me. That's why this video doesn't seem like I finished it. I wasn't happy and I wasn't going to do a video. I emailed the company and they said please do a video just an unbiased version. They also offered the discount code to any ice maker you guys may want to look at on their website.

I have an Opal and I don't run it on "clean", but instead when I need to clean it (we have hard water that calcifies so before I clean, I bag up some ice then pour straight vinegar in the water bin and let it run through to clean the tubes and reservoirs. I then run clean water through a couple of times. Love my soft ice making ice machine.
