Gena Rowlands in Gloria has always stuck with me, a woman with power and cleverness..and a gun. Stunned at watching Cate in both Elizabeth's. So mesmerizing to me. I fell in love with Queen Elizabeth, who she was. CAROL was stunning. I loved the bar scene with Abby & Carol. I thought the facial expressions were priceless back & forth, now knowing you two went 'hot' makes sense now, and fun lines about the red head Abby was interested in was funny... CAROL's ending was wonderfully artistic, but I needed the two characters to be in a room other than a motel room while expressing their love. How great would it have been ( for me at least) to watch them enter their 'home' on Madison Ave apt... and then... well then, meet again as lovers. I wanted that ending to happen, get them out of that grungy motel connection and into a space that was all theirs. I've watched the movie too many times wishing the ending went that way. Right now, I'm looking forward to watching Sarah in Ratched, and Cate in all things she decides to do. Love these woman, glad they have such a good heart for one another. Laughter is lovely. SO lucky. (Sorry, I am late to this video...)
