While I was baptized as Greek Orthodox as an infant, I abandoned the faith (and all faiths) in my early childhood and now find myself becoming a revert back to Orthodoxy at age 32. Orthodox churches are very few and far between where I live in Florida, at present (Ocala, if you know of any good parishes...), so I do not have a spiritual father as of yet to guide me back into this. These catechism lectures have been outrageously enlightening and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making them available to us, Father. Truly a blessing I stumbled across this channel.

Alithos anesti! Indeed, the myrrh-streaming Iveron icon of Hawaii is... a print! MANY simple prints of icons have become myrrh-streaming or wonder-working. So yes! A printed icon is still an icon. Though, if you ever wish, Uncut Mountain Supply will mount good quality images on wood for you, if you desire something a bit more formal and solid.
