It seems silly that the mirrors aren't supplied disassembled! Builds looking awesome

Nice build. Suggest peeling off the tyre labels as you won't want them to mess up the brake tests for the IVA. Also, strongly recommend you buy some flush sidecutters and trim all of those tyraps to be flush - if the IVA tester cuts himself your chances of goodwill and passing are pretty low!

Good point, but they will be well scrubbed in long before it goes for IVA 😉

That silly IVA trim on the sides is not even present or required on our factory built LHD versions, same for the side mirrors that are attached to the sidescreens, no fuss

In the UK we must have the trim on the top suspension apertures (not needed on bottom apertures) and the mirrors have to be mounted to the screen frame as the doors must not be on the car in order to pass the Government IVA test (the flexible clear plastic is not E marked glass).
