Royal wedding fever is set to sweep a seaside town today as hundreds of primary school children stage their own version of the special day - complete with helicopter and horse drawn carriages.
Youngsters at Flakefleet Primary School in Fleetwood, Lancs, have been following preparations closely and even taking part in mock stag and hen dos.
Now on the eve of the much-anticipated event the town is to be transformed as members of the public line the streets to welcome their very own mini Harry and Meghan.
The mock wedding preparation is intended to teach the children about being ‘proud to be British’.
