It seems fairly apparent that the psychic was doing some classic cold reading when asked to provide new info. You can tell just by the tone of her voice and leading inflection, its also entirely possible the show chose to only show all the cold reading hits and none of the obvious misses for entertainment purposes. If you've ever seen a "psychic" do cold reading, its very recognizable if you know what to look for. It can even be incredibly believable right then in the moment, but shes basically making either educated guesses or complete stabs in the dark, then watching for micro expressions and reactions, going through it slowly enough to catch themselves and correct any negatively reacted to info/misses. I mean just watch the way shes talking while not telling but, almost asking about her mom being a stripper. She started with the very vague statement about making choices others might not have and went from there. Many psychics and straight up con artists often use a combination of hot and cold reading to get their foot in the door to be believed. Hot reading basically just being researched and confirmed facts from ahead of time. I mean I don't claim to know anything in life for certain, much less if there are any real psychics with actual validity, personally haven't seen any, but I wont entirely rule it out. I just have enough experience to recognize this sort of cold reading style grift.

Oh my. I’m with you in regards to charlatans/psychics. It’s called leading the witness in a legal setting. Being a superb observer of human reactions helps tremendously as you mentioned. There’s Barnum statements that seem personal yet apply to many people. It’s a whole school of human psychology. Being able to lead a person into a new belief based solely on what you say? As if they weren’t given the chance to go, ‘hey, that ain’t quite right. I didn’t say that’. No, but you did allude to having known about it. Yes? Indeed. Then there’s the Burman effect also attributed to P.T. Barnum. ‘’People are gullible because they think the information is about them only when in fact the information is generic’’. Aka A Sucker is born every minute. P.T. Barnum found many ways to separate ‘suckers’ from their money. A true showman with a 3 ring circus of freaks and the like. The Barnum effect in psychology refers to the gullibility of people when reading descriptions about themselves. Aaah! That’s hysterical AF! Don’t believe your own copy People. Is the message. Don’t believe what other people say about you. Is the other message. Psychics? Yeah, no. I don’t wanna know the future nor call upon some past experiences to be revisited. I don’t believe in 👻. Even if they’re real AF, I still don’t wanna know any. There’s enough entities that I can see in my life. Ain’t adding invisible ones.

Hello! I 've been watching your videos for a while. It is great that you help people. I have an urgent question. I have seen many attempts of scammers on intagram & facebook . SO, far I keep writting below the messages they write saying that they are scammers. I have also reported them to insta & fb. However, the last person/scammer has already I think has already trapped at least 2 people & therefor even if i report this person thay could contact their victims from new profiles. I hope I am wrong but 2 people have commented on "her" page (if you look up the name doesn't match the face) and about ten people have liked the photos posted. How could I help them, inform them without attracting the scammers attention?
