I dont use swivels just a one ounce egg weight above a 10/0 kunsile circle hook will hold anything

My 10 year son and I have enjoyed your videos. Catfishing is kind of our thing, especially limb lines and trotlines. I'd love to be able show you another way, with the amount of fish in that canal you would absolutely load the boat.

I had the alligators pull the catfish lines off when they eat the fish you hooked. Gator bait

I had my bait fish eaten by a bigger fish, which got hooked, and was then partially eaten by something else all overnight

You clean them right they are every bit as good as the smaller ones, take off blood , silver and any fat just white flaky meat left. We catche many of them every year down here in houma.

I was setting a line a few nights ago and heard buzzing. Freaked me out a lil bit 'cause I had no where to run. Thankfully nothing came out and I lived to tell the tale

The fish were getting too much purchase on the line. You need a float - crab float or pool noodle with PVC in it and tie that to the tree. The fish will fight the float and not pull the line tight. Happy fishing!
