Of course he's "worried about her being online" cause he knows she's been scammed before & he doesn't want her giving her money to somebody else! And who "monitars" their wink-wink girlfriend online, OJ Simpson? Get off your butt, lady, go outside & meet real, breathing people. Or just go throw $20 to some local drunk so he can talk pretty to ya & tell you what you want to hear. At least he's somebody you can see and kiss. You are just paying a prostitute to talk sweet to ya, nothing more. Maybe this sounds harsh but daggone, somebody needs to be real with this poor delusional woman and knock some sense into her instead of boo hooing & crying with her

Most of these victims are delusional. Someone needs to buy them a mirror and also tell them to stop shoving the camera under their noses for the love of God.

Maybe I am cut from a different piece of cloth, but I'm having a really hard time having sympathy for her. She reached out to this channel knowing that these people have the recourses and the technical expertise to find the truth. Yet, when she is presented with the truth, she doesn't want to accept it. She's been scammed before, so you think she would be more prudent and receptive to receiving help the next time around. How is it possible to have sympathy. You see an alligator infested swam, and you choose to jump in anyway. Someone comes and gives you the tool you need to get out, yet you choose to remain in it. Don't you deserve to have your limbs bitten off? I think they need to change the word common sense to limited to some folks sense.

I think most of these people are mentally broken, or severely damaged. And when they get into these scammy relationships..? It somehow feels like validation, and is like a drug to them! That they get addicted to! And being an addict? Speaking as someone who's dated one, and then thankfully dumped his ass? Makes people do completely ridiculous, self-destructive and incomprehensible things, that make absolutely NO rational sense! And makes you just about want to tear your fucking hair out! ..What I don't get, though? Is how they fall so desperately in love, and get hooked on these scammers, to begin with! Although I guess intense love bombing, (same as what they do in cults, and what personality disordered people use to manipulate their victims), is most likely a factor. Although the conversations always seem fairly shallow, and I would personally NOT be impressed by these scammers' antics! But.. the average victims are also NOT typically that intelligent, I suppose. That would make them easier to manipulate, too.

Perfectly summarized! Cannot agree more. To be honest, it sort of upsets me how stupid these women act and I feel angry at them. Zero sympathy.
@twitch_tv_pat Жыл бұрын
its weird they claim they love this person , but when they ask them questions about this person , they barely even know them , they can't even answer simple questions about them. how can you love some one you don't know anything about them at all? its a fantasy world these people live in with pure delusion. they would rather get scammed , throw their money to a stranger , then face reality.

OMG, how deluded can one be? You're too kind but I understand that, not to shut her down or anyone else reaching out for help. Her 'NSA Agent' NEEDS Gift Cards and that didn't do it for her : ( Maybe, don't refer to her 'Communication' with the SCAMMER as continuing your 'Relationship'? It allows her to interpret that as a 'Romantic Relationship'.

I have repeatedly posted that in these videos. Reinforcing a delusion is not appropriate. And for what it's worth I'm a retired psychiatric nurse. Always present reality when presented with their delusions.
@marthawhitehouse98382 жыл бұрын
I agree. The “respectful” tone they take with these people, calling these scam situations, “relationships” is doing harm to these people. They need to be slapped with reality.
@MissBeeeBeee2 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. Language is powerful and calling it a “relationship” may be heavily reinforcing a delusional fantasy. Maybe add the word “predatory” in there, as in “predatory interaction or communication.” To be fair: it IS a relationship in which both predator and prey are participating, BUT speaking of a “relationship” may be very harmful here. This word typically has a positive connotation unless you use an adjective in front of it, to say the least. Peace.
@Kyra_of_Kerkyra Жыл бұрын
Yes, agreed. The lady was framing it too mildly such as "probably", "we believe" etc. Later the commentator (male voice over) spoke more decidedly: "We are convinced...". That's the way Kathleen should have been talked to in the video call! I mean you don't need an investigator to know it was a scam. Anyone with any common sense knows!

Sadly, she's probably already talking to another scammer again by now. These types can't seem to stay away.
