The song is about falling asleep with the tv on and the idea of stars dying and becoming brighter after death. The middle part says "Dusty frames that still arrive, die in 1955" is a reference to James Dean who died in that year.

Blondie was a group way ahead of their time. They incorporated punk, new wave, rock, pop, reggae, disco and rap. Lead singer Debbie Harry a true icon.

Lots of scenes from her videos also.... not merely Andy Warhol views, though mixed in too. Again... Debbie Harry here was ahead of her time in look and music.
