I miss seeing my 19 year old sleeping. He passed 12/23/2023 after being sick a short time. He was my snuggle buddy. I have a lot of pictures but it's not the same thing as the warm body next to you. I have 6 others, but he was my old man that I loved snuggling with and watching sleep.

I was thinking the same; he looks totally confident in his safety, and extremely comfortable.( I say he because 80% of ginger cats are male.) Because I did cat rescue work for years I really never had just one or two cats, and I regret not being able to provide them with such comfort and very much attention. I was too soft to be a foster mom. Nobody was good enough to adopt them in my eyes, so I ended up keeping most of them! By the way ginger and ginger and white cats are the quirkiest and some of the most affectionate.
