This song is very catchy but first of all it is mega masterpiece. Haruna like always shows virtuocity on bells and cymbals. Ladies have yet now 60 masterpieces in their set.

Haruna might not be the most subtle drummer in the world, but what she does, she does insanely well. her footwork and cymbal work are quite spectacular.

Being a Percussionist you should look for the Tab/ Music scores that Lovebites has available out there. The drum notation is much longer than the guitars in most songs. Haruna is beyond phenomenal she is Transcending. No junk measures no meh refrains. Its All Out, Ballz Out in Every Regard.

Great review. Lovebites must've been waiting for you to show up. You have a print "drum" in Japanese Katakana on your bass drum, print it ドコドコ (sounds Doko Doko) which means heavy rolling sound like quick bass drum double kick or freight trains rolling down for the next time.

I actually did consider that but in the end it just looks best with ドラム. I also tried putting "catharsis" in using katakana but it was too crowded.

I tried that too but it also just didn't feel right. Two lines was too much. Keep in mind this is also my logo itself so it needs to look and feel solid at like 50x5px as well as merch printable in smaller sizes. That's a bit much to scrunch into that space so i landed on the final. I tried like 10 variations

Lovebites tends to stick to basic power metal rhythms although they occasionally throw in some odd time signatures. If you want to hear a song with more variety try "We love sweets" by Hanabie, which runs through about 8 different drumming styles in two and a half minutes.

If its any louder it drowns out any comments i make tbh. I've thought of sidechaining it but i think that'd be more distracting. Ideally people have heard the song solo before coming to a reaction video so i don't worry too much if the audio is slightly dipped

From what i see in comments, most other reactors pause to make comments but I personally don't like doing so if i can avoid it. If i kept quiet the whole time and only paused to talk I'd definitely have it louder, but fighting for that real estate is a bit tricky 🫠

@@CatharsisYT actually there’s room for more volume full stop. Both you and the music are quiet. I’m maxed out and the music and you are the same volume. Not 11 that’s fo sho.

DEFINITELY noticed that. I've got a few growing pains from my old audio flow still present in my new one. My next recording will have overall volume improvement. I think right now the final mix sits around -25 but should be closer to -6 or -3.

Trying to see patterns in a video clip so short is difficult. KZbin has a feature to slow play speed and even though it makes the music sound odd it's useful for analysis of things that happen to fast for the brain to easily comprehend. Click the little gear and give it a try!

Great, and there is so much more to come. Like it. So I am just posting it here. There ist one more band from Japan. I don't know if you heard from them, or even if you like them. There might be the chance it would not generate that much intention for the algorythm, so to say. Have you ever heard about Aldious? Up to today I was not able to understand dthe drum kit configuration. As advertisement, it is about Marina Bozzio, Terry Bozzios's stepdaugher. If you like, maybe check out Aldious / Dominator (LIVE) from “Radiant A Live at O-EAST” (DVD). Would be happy to hear your opinion, or to help me to understand. I don't know how hard they go on restrictions.

Has been fixed since. This kinda went from a thing i was going to do a few times to my main content in a very short time. Led to growing pains ive only just now resolved fully in today's video
