There was another Reverse: 1999 song that also got recognition in the Global Music Awards - *"Symbiosis".* It's a song used for the game's Release Date Trailer, and while I believe that one isn't made by Adam, it's a really great track that I think really captures the overall vibe of Reverse: 1999 as a whole. You can go take a listen to it right now! It's currently out on Spotify as the final track under the album *"Journey in the Rain"* along with several other tracks from the game.

i do hope u check out more of the Reverse 1999 character songs since they all are unique in their own way. My favorite so far is Catch u Now(Jessica character song) couse it just fits the mood so well.

Sounds to me like the "the rhythm isn't right" section is in 11/8 with 3+3+3+2 feel, but I might be wrong. Most of the song sounds like 6/8 to me, but with hemiola giving it the suggestion of a four feel at times As for a request, Wrathful Cerulean Flame from Arknights would be one I'd love to see your reaction to. It doesn't have an associated video but you can find it on the Sterling Maffe - Topic youtube channel. Vocals on it are Laura Intravia. It's a song any Arknights player (who has read the story at least) will recognize, playing at one of the key climactic moments of the first major story arc.

yeah the only part where i was able to count a weird time signature was the "the rhythm isn't right" parts with 11/8. i couldn't really tell at the time that catharsis brought it up prior to that

Oh yeah i didn't mean the comparison being that it changes AS much, just that it changes in harmony with the meaning in song. Honestly i kinda prefer this one's approach because it's a bit more restrained. Too many signatures can ruin a song pretty quickly most of the time

@@CatharsisYT i meant at 1:18 when you said gubman was messing around with the signatures a bit. up to that point (and continuing to 1:31) it all seemed like 3/8 or 6/8 to me. on the topic of changing signatures though, to me as long as it's done well, i don't think i really have a preference (not that i've heard of any other song with time signatures even remotely close to as crazy as 思い出かけら lol) but i can definitely imagine switching time signatures a lot done poorly. in the case of 思い出かけら it seemed very deliberate (and as you pointed out, in line with the lyrics) and thus carefully designed for it, especially in the moments it all consolidates
