They are both beautiful planes. I think the A350-1000 is the most beautiful one right now, but the 787 is also beautiful.

787 and A350 aren’t even in the same class. First of all, the 787 design is 10 YEARS older than the A350, and The A350 is meant to compete directly with the 777 classic and 777X series. I hate when people compare the 787 to this plane. The closest Airbus competition to the 787 would be the A330neo.

@@maxflight5009 because on technological advancement. the 787 and a350 are very similar which are both cleansheet designs and are one of the most recent and fuel efficient aircraft. that's why. also the 787 ain't 10 years older mate.

MaxFlight its design is definitely not 10 years older. Airbus had the concept of the A350 dating back to ‘04 ‘05, but fiddled around and changed it several times, leading to the current design in ‘08. 787 with ANA first developed in ‘04 and first flight in ‘09. A350 first flight in ‘13. So the 787 has been in development stages longer but they’re basically around the same age

I love how the plane looks from the nose to the wings, the rear not so much. There is something about the tail cone that makes me unsatisfied and makes the plane look disproportionate. Even though the cabin inside is amazing for passengers, very spacious, the outside look is lacking. So, I prefer the 787-10 for the outside look and the A350 for the inside.

folks since you all are aviation experts may I suggest an extremely rude awakening. This is Airbus' answer to the 777 of which 2000 jets have been ordered, and airbus has received 900 orders to date. Another distressing reality is the order tally of the 787 - 1400+ are on order as well although its not a direct competitor. I personally like the 787 and 777x more, and dont forget the gorgeous roar of the GE90 engines.

not even close. 787 uses raked wingtip. the a350 winglets is quite a work of elegant design. hand down the most elegance wingtip IMO. I like how it actually has this illusion of different look and curvature depending which angle you view it from.

Oscar Huartamendía & Ming Ming, you guys are missing the point. 787 was first commercial aircraft to be built on composite materials which AirBus said that it would never work and they wouldn't build with it. Some years later after seeing 787, they decided to copy the 787 design both body and wings on composite materials. They added winglet so people don't think as copy from Boeing 787 design.
