Rolls-Royce never disappoints in the sound of its engines. For me, no one makes engines of reaction better than Rolls-Royce. At GE, I only see prominence in GE90-115B.

I did a lot of flying years ago with my job. I remember the sound of the turbines and the RPMS going down the higher we went. I also remember the "thump" of the landing gear as it was closed up in the fuselage, safely tucked away until it was time to land and the process would start all over again 😎

Rb211 not my first choice, BUT i used to fly saudia which had the 211s on the 747 and 1011. WHAT A GLORIOUS SOUND THEY MAKE. It was only yesterday and now im gettin old and feeling it.
