If you are flying first out of HKG the check in staff usually give you first class lounge access in Syd.

Good to know, thanks! I will ask for it next time 😊 I checked my luggage all the way to Paris and got my 1st class boarding pass from HKG CDG at the same time in SYD but check-in staff only mentioned business class lounge.

Thanks for the fab video I usually fly Singapore or Emirates business & First it's more convenient from Brisbane...but I would like to fly Cathy , the food looks good with Cathy and to me even though it's an older cabin it's look cleaner & fresher then.. Qatar , I don't like the dark colours ... I must say , you didn't like the burgundy colour of the PJs but they are a flattering colour to your skin tone and suited you. Thanks for the video , & it's refreshing the hear people speakly naturally as opposed to the nauseating sing song way many of the wanna be influencer's sound in their irritating videos ... safe journeys

Thanks so much for your awesome comment! 😊 Singapore Airlines and Emirates are such great options out of Brisbane-I totally get why they’re your go-to. I think you’d enjoy giving Cathay a try sometime; their food is definitely a standout, and I agree, the cabins do feel really clean and fresh, even though they’re older. Haha, I wasn’t sure about the burgundy PJs, but I’ll take the compliment-glad they worked better than I thought! Really happy to hear you found the video refreshing. Nice video! Happy to see that you enjoyed the flights. Agreed that the hardware on the 777-300ER was a bit dated, luckily Cathay has announced that all the 77Ws would be retrofitted with their newly designed business class seat - Aria Suite. New first class is also around the corner (to be featured in their new 777X).

I love Cathay. I learned 1st class food service working in HK at M@The Finge and other prestigious hospitality venues, both as a trainee management student and as a customer, being treated to fabulous experiences by my Aunt and Uncle and amazing family friends as a green 17yr old and then as a 23yr old. I miss our extravagant life in HK in the 80's and 90's

CX A350s aircraft are so much better then the B777-300ER screens, the screens on its A350 more responsive then the B777s, CX is now introducing and retrofitting new Aria suite with doors in business class on its B777-300 Er this year , also introducing new economy, premium economy product too on its B777s, but A350 don’t have first class only, Business, Premium Economy and Economy. No plans for CX with any new cabin products .

Caviar is associated with luxury and exclusivity due to its high price and limited availability which is the main reason they serve it in first class I guess 🤷🏽‍♂️

there was no first class lounge in this video at Syndey airport, only the Qantas business class lounge which was good enough. I was told i wasn't allowed to film in there by the staff so it was very short in this video of the Qantas business class lounge.
