This is a cool video! Landing in ANC on the north/south runway on the north side up by North West Cargo, taxing down to what I thought was going to be N8 gate, on the north terminal. Cool seeing CI 012 on gate N4.

Nice video! I took CX828 twice and once CX829. They used to not let you get off the plane, but after threats with the terrorists using bombs hidden in the shoes or inside water bottles, the US started making all the passengers get off the airplane during the fuel stop. Before then, with all of us stuck in the airplane, this flight was probably the 2nd longest flight in the world (Behind SQ's non stop to EWR from SIN)

I work at ANC station as a ramp agent and some times they do let you out and some times they don't. It really depends on wether US Airways or any domestic flights are on any of the gates, also depends on U.S Customs. China Airlines, they usually always let the passengers off the plane. Maybe if the flight is really delayed they may not.

refuelling takes about 45 mins and they don't let you out of the plane

I also took cx828/829 before there's cx826/827 which is a direct flight between HKG and YYZ, and they did let us out sometimes.. usually at gate N8....and I think there will have no more cx828/829 now

only for cargo but not for passenger flights though :)
