Our homes are a venue for Jesus to perform His miracles and for us to share His word. We, Christians, are to welcome people, have fellowship together, and strengthen each other's faith. We are to fulfill the Great Commission, to go into the world and preach the Gospel.
Acts 5:42 ESV
And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.
Matthew 9:23-25 ESV
And when Jesus came to the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion, he said, “Go away, for the girl is not dead but sleeping.” And they laughed at him. But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
