Catherine is everything a parent would want their son to marry. (unless the mother is a jealous harpy like Meghan). She has the kind of class that has nothing to do with money. If she married a carpenter, and had to live on his paycheck, she would still be the same: a loving supportive, kind wife, mother and friend to those in her social class. If she marries a King or future King, she will be a revered Queen for the same qualities. And we know that, because we have had the fortune to know women like her...in all stations of life, from poor to rich. (sadly not a whole lot of them, but people KNOW instinctively that Catherine may be a Queen one day, but she could just as easily be your best friend in another walk of life). And Meghan, is that bratty kid you knew in elementary school, who grew up to the be mean girl in high school and college, and married for money and made her inlaws life a living hell. We've seen a LOT more of her kind to be fooled by her.

Another difference between Catherine and Harry's wife is that Catherine seems to genuinely WANT to do the right thing by everyone. She always steps back to let more senior royals go ahrad of her, she gets down to the level of little kids, shows respect to her husband during all public occasions and shows deference and respect to everyone she meets. She never looks at, or looks for the cameras and her smile is genuine. She is quite the class act. None of these things apply to Harry's first wife.

Meghan's calling her wedding a "public spectacle" is her own fault. Not only did she fill the church with celebrities that neither she nor Harry knew, but she could have asked the late Queen for a small, private ceremony. It was so lovely how when she was leaving the hospital she saw the crowd behind the wall/door and she walked back to acknowledge them - she did look surprised - how spontaneous ❤ It didn’t look like she was aware of them gathered there. It still brings a smile to my face when I recall at the Sandringham Christmas when she got behind greeting the well wishers how she said something like I seemed to have lost my family - “my family” - the unit - very sweet - unlike you know who who referred to her husband as “this one”. 🤗💐

You are right about cancer and the fear it will return. My mother had breast cancer. She handled it well, but she was always waiting for this stealth enemy to return. And it did. She then got Colon Cancer, and survived...but until the day she died she always believed it was like a stealth enemy lurking and waiting. It's an enemy you can't see and it's terrible.

My nephew had colon cancer, had surgery, and when it was time for reattachment surgery, they discovered cancer in the lower right lobe of his lung, so that surgery had to take precedent over his reattachment surgery. It has been 10 years now, and he is still in remission, but the fear is ever present with him, and his lovely wife and children, and of course, the rest of his extended family.

My aunt had breast cancer and went through all the treatments…. Was told she was clear…. 6 years later she got ovarian cancer and they wanted to do it all again… my aunt refused.. she said the treatment was worse than the cancer. God bless and give strength to every cancer sufferer and survivor 💙
