Leo brought out all the lightest parts of Catherine, while Peter allowed her to act on the darkest parts. The chemistry and passion between Catherine and Peter is amazing, but I really did love her with Leo too. I hate that they didn't at least get more time together.

Peter (Nicholas) is king of Russia and Catherine (Elle) is his wife and she's plotting to coup and take control of Russia. Peter and Catherine have a weird relationship but definitely weren't in love at first so Peter gifted Catherine a lover (Leo) provided Catherine and Peter have a baby. The show is called The Great and is loosely based around the true story of the Russian monarchs ... it's really brilliant and I totalyyyy recommend it
