ARKQ robots and batteries own a share but this is about 2 years off into the future. and ARKG is about 3 years off into the future...... but these to funds are up 150%+ over the last 5 years.. ARKW 320%, ARKK 310% over last five.... your money is safer with ARK than holding in the Nasdaq etf QQQ. .......

@Zalatan Ibra at this point I'm starting to think it's gonna happen. Traditional auto companies are grudgingly moving to electric power trains and Tesla is going global and is expanding their supercharger network. I could see a day in next few years when we have more superchargers than gas stations. Tesla's cars will be smarter and sleeker and have be positioned to charge for more services than any other competitor. Not to mention the Model 3 will become more profitable over time, allowing an entry point to a broad range of incomes. We may be seeing a virtual monopoly in electric cars with Tesla being the winner.

@@matasuki I think I'm with you on that. There has never been a company so diversified and so disruptive as Tesla. All normal rules of predicted growth go out the window.

@Zalatan Ibra yeah I forgot about the robotaxi/ride share thing completely. Uber and Lyft are literally one Elon away from being disrupted. I was skeptical that Tesla would hit $1000 before 2021 and I got out at around 800 earlier this year. I'll probably jump back in after Elon tweets something to crash the stock back to $1500s.

Thanks for a great interview with Cathie Wood. I've been listening to her for a while, but I think this interview was especially informative. I have invested in each of ARK funds, but after listening to Cathie's explanation about Genomics I realize that I should increase my ARKG holdings a bit more. I really enjoyed hearing about Cathie's background and her career path. Her open-source approach to market analysis sets ARK apart. I'd like to see ARK start an alternative energy fund too. TAN has done extremely well, but I don't believe it is actively managed like ARK ETFs are. It would be interesting to ask Cathie if she has any plans for additional ETFs that ARK is considering introducing in the future.

Kathy is smart but she's ill informed and passed on info relevant to AI and Big Data saying essentially they're so far in front of all others which is not the case. GM VW TM Hundai Honda and other legacy market leaders will begin very concerted powerful moves very soon dampening the Tesla hype to a trickle by comparison to what it is today, IMO.

The other good point is that when Tesla starts its driven ride hailing service, this is going to further lead to an increase in sales and market share. Getting "butts in seats" Getting more people in the car and experiencing it, will make more realize how incredible it is and bring on more sales and spread the word even more.

I heard of ARK and Cathie 3 years ago but thought she just got lucky with Bitcoin so I wasn't really big on ARK. Also, I was never big on female money managers. But then she kept putting up crazy returns and finally get Cathie now. She's one of the best managers in the world. I own ARKF ARKG ARKW in equal weight in addition to SQ. ARK will continue to be a huge part of my portfolio.
