Whether the person raising you is old or young, father or grandfather, doesn't matter. What matters is the love between the two of you and that you are loved. Usually bullies are jealous because they don't find this love at home. But it is not your job to fix the lives of bullies. Steer clear of them, even in adulthood. It can be a family disease, similar to alcoholism. Surprised the schools don't send the bullies and their families to therapy. My husband was in his middle forties and I was thirty-nine when our son was born, not planned that way as we married late in life, he, was called grandad a few times but you just have to ignore people's rudeness when they know you are in fact the father. My husband and I are 10 years, seven months different in age, and I think it’s just fine. As for those bullies, they are just jealous and she needs to learn how to not let them bother her. There’s always going to be bullies in life. You just got to know how to not let their idiocy bother you. God has truly blessed the family! I prayed for them when I heard that Michael was sick. Having a parent that is older isn't an excuse to bully a child. Ugh. I am the daughter of an older mom, and was a younger and an older parent of three children. When other children made sarcastic comment to my younger daughter, she just said I guess you will never grow up. I know who my mom and I are. Thankfully I don't care what you say about it. Move on. There are a lot of more important things in life than this. She was 8 when she said this to the bullies in her class. That took care of things. She was never bothered again. Ten years later, she is fearless and adores her 93 year old grandmother who is still going strong.

A little story guys Me and my mate Richard Mylan used to breakdance and do robotics back in the 80s we done promotional work for shops ie dance in shop windows things like that, Richard used to go to peppermint dance studios run by a guy named Dale in Swansea South Wales he was very good friends with Catherine who also danced there. It was plain to see Catherine would go far she was hungry for the bright lights, She dated my brother for a short time nothing come of it. Catherine went to London to do acting there was not enough going on in Swansea to keep her here. My mate Richard went on to become a good actor but not as famous as Catherine i spoke to Richards sister Teresa not long ago it is a small world If Catherine ever saw this comment she would be curious who i am as i know lots about her younger days but what a lovely girl , the Zeta in her name was given her by her gran after an old ship called Zeta in Swansea
