Mary is not the mother of God, God sent his son Jesus to Earth through Mary, a human that God created. From my experience, I've never heard a Catholic speak about God's order, of man being over woman, thus probably why every Catholic family that I've ever gotten to know personally, including my own, had pure hell at home, b/c the woman led through her ego and didn't submit to her husband.
