Please, Father, please forgive me for I am a sinner. I feel like I have no right to ask for Your Forgiveness. But I must ask for You for not only Forgiveness but Your Help. I'm homeless and living in my car. I really would like to have a home of my own. I am tired of feeling like I will not be able to move forward to find the path that You have for me. I truly believe that You have plans for me but I cannot find them on my own. The help that has been offered to me, is not what I feel that I can accept because there are people who are in more dire need than I. There was NO "Feast of Holy Innocents" in first century Christianity (nor any other "feast days"), whereby Jesus established only ONE day of the year as critical, as important, that is to be observed by TRUE Christians, the memorial of his death.(Luke 22;19, 20; 1 Cor 11:23-26) Note: the "Feast of the Holy Innocents" is a feast of the "Holy Innocents", who were killed by King Herod in search for the baby Jesus, being part of Catholic Christmas traditions, whereby Christmas is a pagan tradition built on ancient Rome's celebrating Saturnalia, Roman god of agriculture, from December 17-24 and "birthday of the invincible sun", the Persian god of light, Mithra on December 25. U.S. Catholic stated: “It is impossible to separate Christmas from its pagan origins.” It adds: “The Romans’ favorite festival was Saturnalia, which began on December 17 and ended with the ‘birthday of the unconquered sun’ (Natalis solis invicti) on December 25. Somewhere in the second quarter of the fourth century, savvy officials of the church of Rome decided December 25 would make a dandy day to celebrate the birthday of the ‘sun of righteousness.’ Christmas was born.”(December 1981, pg 32) Under the Mosaic Law, there were three festivals apart from the annual Day of Atonement that Israelite men were to attend, to observe.(Lev 23:1, 2, 26-32; Note: the word "festival", is the Hebrew chagag, H2287, meaning "properly, to observe a festival", or chag, H2282, meaning "a festival", that has chagag as its root word, whereby the Hebrew zikrown, chagag and chag are used at Ex 12:14 regarding the annual Passover and Festival of Unleavened Bread, while the word "feast" is the Hebrew word mishteh, meaning "a banquet or feast", as at Gen 19:3; 21:8; 26:8) (1) the Passover, observed on Abib (or Nisan) 14 (Ex 12:1-7; Lev 23:4), that was combined into one as the Festival of Unleavened Bread (Matt 26:17), that was observed from Nisan 15-21.(Lev 23:6-8), on which Nisan 15 was a Sabbath day, regardless where it arrived in the 7 day week. (2) the Festival of Harvest or Pentecost (Ex 23:16a; Lev 23:15-21), and (3) the Festival of Ingathering or Booths that was observed from Tishri 15-21, plus the annual Day of Atonement held on Tishri 10 or about September 25 of the Gregorian calendar, for the Jewish seventh month of Tishri ran from about the middle of September through about the middle of October.(Ex 23:14-17; Lev 23:9-32; Num 28:17) But what is really important is the question of what does the three festivals that really started with the Passover on Nisan 14 (Ex 12:1-7; Deut 16:1-8), the day before the Festival of Unleavened Bread began in Nisan 15 and ran until Nisan 21, through the Festival of Harvest (or "Pentecost", with Pentecost being Greek meaning "50"), counting 50 days from Nisan 16, which came to near the end of the month of May (or during the Jewish month of Sivan), till the final Festival of Ingathering or Booths, from Tishri 15-21, really mean ? They have to do with the choosing, "harvesting" and "ingathering" of the 144,001 members of God's heavenly Kingdom that Jesus taught his disciples to pray for at Matthew 6:9, 10 and that Jesus death on a stake opened the way for.(Heb 10:19-21) They have to do with the symbolic "woman" and her "offspring" at Genesis 3:15, that is seen again at Isaiah 49, 54, 60, 62, John 6:45, Galatians 4, Revelation 12. It is by means of God's heavenly Kingdom that the earth will be transformed into a paradise, restoring the genuine peace lost in the rebellion in the garden of Eden (Gen 3:1-6), finishing what God, whose name is Jehovah (see Isa 12:2; 26:4, KJV), began in the garden of Eden with the creation of the first human couple some 6,000 years ago, for "meek" ones to enjoy perfect peace and security in perfect health, forever.(see Gen 1:26-31; Ps 37:11, 29; Matt 5:5)
