I live in California. Going through a marriage crisis preventing me to attend mass as I wish and need. Please pray with me to Padre Pio for intervention and healing. Thank you Bishop Greg. I follow you since the beginning of COVID. I miss mass as if I was in prison. Now I have to choose between my marriage or mass in church. This is my biggest cross because mass and the Eucharist are my rock to survive. Please pray for me before I loose heart and mind. I love my husband of 48 years. I need BOTH. Please Pray,Pray,Pray for deliverance!

Beautiful homily, thank you, bishop! We watched Mass from our home in Los Gatos, California. At first we thought we had found a Jesuit parish ( from the IHS), but soon learned otherwise. I had 2 Jesuit uncles (Mike Buckle, SJ - a theologian who taught John of the Cross - and Tom Buckley, SJ) and a great aunt who was a cloistered Carmelite in Carmel, California (Mother Marie Aimee of Jesus, formerly Maria Fletcher, and to us Aunt Ria). Watching the Mass felt very at home with those connections.

Mary Pope, I am also from California and discovered Bishop Greg sliced hit by the pandemic, I am also very fond of Bishop Greg, his spirituality and humility. I also had uncles Jesuit and another one a monk. I have also been attracted to religious life since I was a teen specially Carmelites but got directed to marriage. I was not aware there was a cloister in Carmel CA thanks for this info.

Thank you so much for this homily Bishop Greg. It's been a huge blessing stumbling on Lismore Church mass as since the pandemic I'm always amazed at the new insights I gain from hearing our heavenly Father thru u. It is especially dear to my heart as I've a congenital hearing defect and decades on I can finally be fully immersed in the mass though online. Do kindly continue streaming as I'm sure there are countless others benefiting immensely from these profound discernments of the Word. God bless! ❤ from M'sia

I was raised Roman Catholic and did not hear the gospel until I was in my 20s. By God’s grace and sovereignty I am a Christ follower (Reformed Baptist) and wanted to share with you folks in love and respect and biblical truth there are numerous falsehoods taught in the Catholic Church that are the antithesis of scripture. While God does not speak audibly to people anymore, as we have the completed Old and New Testaments. Mary herself was not sinless and even stated her need for a savior in Luke 1:47. We are to pray to God ALONE as Christ followers (Philippians 4:6-7, Matthew 6:6, Jeremiah 33:3, 1 Timothy 2:5). Purgatory does not exist, as this was later added in the book of Maccabees, which is not the Bible. When you die, you go to one of 2 places, heaven or hell (Matthew 25:46, Revelation 21, Romans 6:23) We are not to call anyone in church leadership ‘Father’. (Matthew 23:9) We are not to carve or design statues of Jesus or the apostles (Exodus 20:4-5, Leviticus 26:1, Psalm 115:4-8). In addition to these, there is not a single reference in the Bible of holy water, alter boys, rosaries, venial sin, or mortal sin. We are saved by grace alone, by faith alone, in Christ Jesus alone (Ephesians 2). Apart from that, we’re not dying in sin, we are dead in sin. I sincerely pray in God’s will that you’ll not take my mere word for it, but go to the verses that I shared.
