Catholica Mangala Gaanam - 235 Voices 'Srope Kadheshe Choir' at the 'Subaho Smayono' Music Concert

Srope Kadheshe (is a Syriac Word meaning Voices of Angels) is the 235 Voices Diocesan Choir of the Madras Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Church. Started in the year 2010, the Choir comprises of members from the 12 Orthodox Church Choirs in Chennai and also from Coimbatore, Trichy and Pondicherry.
Subaho Smayono (is a Syriac Word meaning Heavenly Glory) was a Music Concert performed by the Srope Kadheshe Choir on the 29th of October, 2023 at Chennai, India. The 235 Voices Choir was accompanied by a 30 member Orchestra.
The Catholica Mangala Ganam, is a poetic citation in honour of the Catholicate. It is customary to chant this anthem whenever the Catholicate flag is hoisted and at the conclusion of public meetings attended by the Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan, His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, the Supreme Head of the Malankara Orthodox Church of India
