When I was a little girl psychic medium, I was thinking about the mysterious Catholic Church. It was mysterious to me because I was brought up the vanilla Methodist Church-You just showed up every Sunday. Not much else was required. Anyway, back to the Catholic Church vision. I was laying in my childhood bed just thinking about the Church. How did it come to be? How did it run? Who were priests anyway? I suddenly got this vision of the Catholic Church many centuries ago. The priests who were power hungry ordinary men. They started twisting Jesus’s loving doctrine to one of guilt to control the masses. That way the poor people would donate their hard earned money to them. They made birth control a sin so that the masses would birth more Catholics thus more money to them. They made a rule that all priests had to be men so they could control women. The list goes on and on. Strip people of their money and their power became the true central doctrine of the Catholic Church. I have an example of this that happened in my own family. My brother in law, Mike, his family are farmers and own over 300 acres in prime Indiana farmland. His grandparents were Catholic and had 6 kids. Mike’s dad was Frank. He was the oldest. In the 30’s, Mike’s grandfather died. This left his grandmother with 6 kids and a large farm to run. Right after the funeral, a priest visited Mike’s grandmother. She was told that it was God’s will that she GIVE the beautiful 300 acre farm to the Catholic Church. She should move in town and raise her kids there. 😳 She immediately said NO and promptly quit the Catholic Church. 🎉 Her oldest Frank was 16. He wanted to run the farm. He quit school and worked that farm until he died. He was 84 when he passed away. Now Mike, 80, runs the farm. The farm will be a legacy that will continued to be passed down to his family generation after generation. If no one wants to work the farm, it can be easily leased. What a great asset for that family! None of that would have happened if the Catholic Church had its way. 🤨 Debbie, Psychic Medium

I am not even a little surprised. I hope you share this story daily. It is extremely important. This is 100% my perception. I’m not sure how I came to this KNOWING. I am very vocal about the human error in religion. There has to be something from organized religion that affected me in a prior life, because it is very hard for me to not be judgemental about Catholicism and other Organized Religion

I was raised in a catholic household but I always knew we are all one. Used to get very depressed knowing they were lieing to everyone. Meditation gave me big healings & every answer I needed. ☮️💜🙏✨

I’m curious if, as a Catholic, you have reservations about the teachings, what makes a person stay with that religion? I’m not trying to start something nasty- you and anyone are free to be Catholic or any religion you want. But for me, if I recognized that parts of the Holy Book were fictional, over embellished etc to keep people afraid and keep people in line, how does one cherry pick the parts you want to follow and what parts you don’t? I would no longer identify as a member of that religion if I couldn’t wholeheartedly embrace all its teachings. Imo the world is going to be such a better place when we evolve past the “need” for organized religion, and more are drawn towards Spirituality and being close with our creator. Organized religion imo keeps people in fear based thinking, and thus easily controlled by powerful people.

​​@@Puglover130It's not that the Bible is fictional in some parts, but it's written with metaphors. It's not literal. It's written this way to keep the enemy from deciphering the true meaning. Yeah some has been mistranslated, but the message is still the same. I'm not Catholic, but I lean more towards it, bcuz of the wonderful protection it offers, when there's spiritual attacks. Sounds nuts, but I don't hate it lol. But it's humans who take those metaphors in the Bible and twist it to fear monger and control their congregations. It's not the book itself.

I was born and raised Catholic to Polish immigrant parents. They were and still are religious fanatics. Even as a child i didnt believe in the faith and everytime i rebelled or questioned the faith i got beat and told that the devil is in me and that im going to Hell. This was in the 90s and beyond. Me and my brother we were forced to pray the rosary 3 times a day, everyday. Even on vacation. Now as an adult my brother is Atheist and im not religious, but i believe in Jesus and am spiritual with a bit of psychicness. Im glad that the church is collapsing but i know that my parents will never be free from its clutches.

This is why I don't go to church and this is why many are denouncing Christianity. It's so sad that humans have such a negative impact on others, which drives them away from their faith. God isn't like that and doesn't condone such acts. When I felt something was wrong, when I was constantly being told I was going to Hell, I went on my own and sought out God and His true teachings and found out that it's humans who are evil, not God. I'm a non-denominational Christian. I've never had a specific religion growing up bcuz we don't need a religion to believe in Christ as our Saviour and we are God's church. God is everywhere and not confined to one space. I'm sorry you went through that. ❤ That's not right and hopefully more people can see that it was humans who have abused the name of God to do evil and control others, and not God.

I would sure be interested in a Mormon (LDS) afterlife perspective. I completely agree you don't need a middle man to ask God for forgiveness but Mormonism is so different from the main religions on earth even from Catholicism, I think a discussion would help a lot of people. Thanks Tim

I really liked my cradle Catholic upbringing in my Catholic neighborhood for the first 11 years of my life, as it instilled better values in me than my family did. I was sort of a tail end kid, so I wasn't heavily indoctrinated- I even escaped catechism even though my mom used to teach it before I came around. My dad was more mystical, and beseeched me to continue to go to church and "light a candle" for his parents occasionally.

The only thing that I'm not resonating with her is she laughs way too much!The first time she was introduced to the channel, when she told this drawn-out story of how Erik made sure that everybody had dinner d delivered. I could not resonate with that story at all so you only order yourself a sub to be delivered but didn't order your other family but they delivered your other family subs and Erik ordered what all her family liked. I knew then that I could not resonate with this one and she continued to laugh the whole entire time. I thought she might get better over time but every time she's on I just can't watch her it's painful.

I was born and raised Catholic. I'm glad The Catholic Church is falling! There was too much emphasis upon being a martyr (for Christ) in the name of God as if this be love when this is death. Because Jesus supposedly died (for our sins) why would there continue to be such emphasis upon death for "God" when are called to life?(!) I was terrified to be who I am for fear "God" would kill or maim (harm) me for being happy as if my demise some how (mysteriously) give glory to the Catholic ideology of "God"? I was terrified of my own success (psychic awareness) as if my joy be in competition with the glory that was to be given to God and God alone. I was terrified of His "will" for me because I knew this glory (joy/bliss) to be my own desire for myself (and others) I experienced as "love". I believe some of the teachings and practices (fear) taught (caught) within The Catholic Church (religion) is where narcissism stems from. How can a human being survive when or if the "God" they were taught to be "love" was out to get them (narcissistic) and/or wanted them "dead" so the deity could be glorified? (Hogged up all the resources.). It made no sense to me and after much harm (where there was also joy) I finally left.

I would love to understand his perspective on the Catholic Church adopting the inverted cross as a symbol of evil, supposedly the form of crucifixion chosen by Peter. Was it a coincidence? As a practicing Catholic, I've always found it funny that the Church really opposes "mediums". HOWEVER, they use the word "mystic" and refer to several popes and saints as mystics. Aren't mystics and mediums kind of the same thing, LOL. And for the record, we don't pray to the Pope or Mary. So much misinformation. We pray to Jesus.

@@charlest8153 - I attended 16 straight years of Catholic school, from kindergarten to college. We recited the “Hail Mary” prayer in grade school, which is… literally a Catholic prayer. And I’m not just going off of my memory of Catholic school, either. I actually looked up the “Hail Mary” last night, just to be completely sure I wasn’t misremembering. All the Catholic websites I found listed it as a prayer to Mary (who’s supposed to intercede on our behalf, I suppose). If you don’t believe me… okay, I guess. You’re not obligated to, and if Erik has anything to say about it, it probably won’t matter once we’re up there with him, anyway. Shame we gotta’ deal with it while we’re still here, though.

But of course Catholicism is man made. When Jesus says to an uneducated illiterate that so long as he believes Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, he can make up whatever rules he likes, that's the start of the man-made religion. And then the traditionalists keep hammering away at how "Peter was the first Pope" (allegedly), "therefore we can make whatever rules we like which nobody can deny under penalty." That tells you everything you need to know about Catholicism
