I enjoy listening to you. When we were kids we would challenge each other to color an whole color page from our coloring books in only one color. It was fun. Why not? Black n white photos are just one color of blacks with shadows and lights.

I love the address panel and your attention to detail using a water resistant finish to protect the ink from running if the envelope gets wet being delivered on a rainy day. I once received an super-thin paper airmail letter written in fountain pen and yes, it was delivered in the pouring rain and hardly a single word of the letter was legible. A lovely card and matching envelope, so pretty :)

I bought the WRMK Envelope Punch Board (cheap at Tuesday Morning). I sat down with a bunch of decorated papers (also cheap at Tuesday Morning) and made all sorts of different sizes of envelopes. I had so much fun and became very good at it. Now, when I want an envelope, I grab a square of decorated paper and make an envelope very quickly. You will love it! Though, I must do the matching envelope like you did! I have been making lots of cards for my church -- for members to send to nursing homes w/no visiting, for the pastors to send to various members. One of my pastors said how my envelopes were so cheerful, as well as the cards. I seal them with double sided tape also and put to pieces on the the flap, so once the pastors and staff use them, they can be sealed to send through the mail.

I love the 1-2-3 Punch Board, and I love making envelopes. I find it easier to score from the top down. I find the score tool gets caught on the paper if I go from the edge to the top. Kristina scores from the edge to the top all the time with no issues. But she's amazing. Love your card. That stamp set is gorgeous.

You go girl! I make envelopes only if I have an odd size card, but I've never thought to colour the front of them like this, leaving an area to write the address. Kirstina is brilliant, & way out of my league. I'm not the most creative person in the world. I'm delighted when I see a notification that you have a new video & I don't fast forward a second of it because who knows what bit of humour I may miss, or a word of crafting wisdom. I love the idea of emboss resist using just one colour. I'm going to do that on my next card. Thanks for the tip of the Avery removable labels. I find masking paper just too expensive for my meagre budget, to be honest. Thanks Cathy!

Great job! So glad you got the 1-2-3 Punch Board. It is great! I did notice that you started outward and moved to the center when scoring the paper. You might try putting the score tool in the top part (under the button) first and move outward. Under the button has a better guide so you stay in the line more easily. At least it was for me. But if that works better for you then, you do you boo!

Hello Cathy, I have used clear embossing powder for the past 15 years: I use it with a really good ink like Versafine Onyx Black or Versafine Clair in all their colours. I then use the clear powder and, if the stamp is a solid or silhouette I heat from underneath and get really lovely intense glossy effects. In the early days I would use clear embossing ink pad with a black or coloured powder but often experienced problems with the black or dark coloured powder sticking where I didn't want it : I get MUCH better, cleaner results this way, For mettalic effects, which I don't often use I have to use gold, silver or copper powder.
