hello, why you can get another side when you created surface or engine at 4：40 ，4:45 ，6:10 ....i don't see you use symmetry command...how did you do it ? thanks.

Hi! XV5 and IMA have both the "visual symmetry" function which visually simmetrize everything you model in realtime along a selected plane.

Hello there, Catia V5 >>> Start menu >>> Shape >>> ICEM Shape Design >>> Visual Symmetry Part Level The Visual Symmetry Part feature offers real-time symmetry. A similar feature is Shape >>> Imagine & Shape >>> IMA-Symmetry This works similarly. If you use Visual Sym Part, Catia automatically adds a new part like "Sym Part ....". To use this, you must be in the assembly section. IMA-Sym automatically adds an element like "Subdivision Symmetry.1" into the same batch. There is no obligation to be in the assembly when using this.
