We visited Michael Hesselbach, managing director of the Hesselbach & Heller contractor, and his team at the headquarters in Unsleben, in the middle of Germany. In addition to other services, the contractor specializes in the application of organic farm manure. To build up the company, the managing director Michael Hesselbach was looking for a powerful but at the same time reliable machine. Due to the changing soil conditions between Saxony-Anhalt and the Thuringian Forest, the contractor is faced with the challenge of always being able to offer the customer the best possible quality of work, even under changing conditions. The AMAZONE compact disc harrow Catros Pro with its high area performance and compactness turned out to be particularly suitable.
Due to the increasing demand in the area of slurry spreading with direct training, managing director Michael Hesselbach decided to expand the stock of the Amazone Catros Pro to five machines. In a combination of the three-point hitch and a self-propelled machine, the company works around 2,000 hectares per machine per year.
Due to the hydraulic working depth adjustment from the cab, the Catros Pro can be optimally adapted to changing soil conditions in order to create an optimal working image. The compact design and durable panes guarantee year-round operational reliability and thus short downtimes due to wear and repair. The combination of robustness and the arrangement of the rows of discs ensures a blockage-free incorporation of the organic matter, even on surfaces with a lot of organic matter. Depending on the weather and soil conditions as well as the customer's desired application rate, the Catros Pro disc harrow allows working speeds of up to 20 km / h with the same quality of work.
